What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage. This policy explains what we use, why, and how you can control it.
Your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing in those categories runs until you say yes, and rejecting them is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie Settings" in the footer of every page.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of marketing cookies.
Essential (always on)
babbolio_consent (cookie, 6 months): remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask on every visit.
babbolio-cart-v1 (local storage, until cleared): keeps the items in your cart between visits.
Checkout is hosted by our payment provider, Stripe, on its own website. Stripe sets cookies there to process payments securely and prevent fraud; see Stripe's own cookie policy for details.
Analytics (only with your consent)
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years): tells us how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found us, so we can improve the site. Google processes this data on our behalf.
Marketing (only with your consent)
Google Ads (_gcl_*, up to 90 days): measures whether our Google adverts lead to visits and orders.
Meta, for Facebook and Instagram (_fbp, _fbc, up to 90 days): measures our adverts on Meta platforms and helps show them to people likely to be interested.
If we start advertising on other platforms, such as TikTok, Pinterest or Microsoft, we will add their cookies to this list before they are used.
Without consent
If you reject analytics or marketing cookies, Google's tags may still send basic, cookieless signals (such as a page having been viewed) that cannot identify you. These help Google estimate overall advertising performance without storing anything on your device.
Withdrawing consent
If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics or marketing cookies listed above from your browser straight away. You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Records of consent
To show that we respect your choices, we keep a record of each choice: a random identifier, the categories you chose, and when. This record does not include your name, email or IP address.
